Stylecraft – Perth Showroom

THE PROJECT

Stylecraft is a leader in providing original, contemporary furniture for over 60 years, with a mix of Australian designed and manufactured furniture and a selection of exclusive international brands. Their product range caters to the commercial, educational and hospitality sectors. With the recent introduction of StylecraftHOME, Stylecraft have entered the residential market. 

The recent completion of Stylecraft’s Perth showroom, located at the heritage-listed Fleet House on Murray Street, was a successful collaboration between Woods Bagot architects, FDC building and a range of material suppliers like Criterion.

Stylecraft had a vision of ‘creating an environment for the customer to experience, test and try products’ and Woods Bagot’s minimalist design of the space ensured that the furniture pieces were accentuated.

SETTING THE SCENE

Particular sections of the showroom utilised Criterion’s systems such as the Platinum 90 using an offset glaze with a powder coating in Electro Black Ace. Together with the the custom-cut 35 mm Decorum Flat Skirting the glasshouse look was achieved.

The Aurora Aluminium Door was made-to-order with a 400 mm wide closing stile to accommodate the mounting of the feature door hardware. The Atlantic Sliding track was a clear choice for this door, for its versatility, streamlined design and long lasting high performance.
