Holiday Inn Hotel - Lounge Area

Designed by Bollig Design Group, the interiors of the hotel includes a new open plan alfresco dining area that extends onto the street level. This innovative design provides guests with the excitement, buzz and ambience of the city centre inside the comfort of the hotel. The restaurant also gives guests an intimate formal dining and lounge experience.

The Holiday Inn fitout was completed by the Swan Group, who installed Criterion’s Linium 90 Suite glazed partitioning and screens to separate areas within the restaurant. Selected by the architect, Linium 90 is a contemporary glass partition system designed with a slim, precise profile that achieves a premium aesthetics throughout the hotel.

Linium 90 offset glazing was also used in the fitout with the offset alternating between front and back of each bay of the partition frames. In addition, the glazing in each vertical panel incorporated a mixture of clear and ribbed glass which enhances natural light and creates the perception of increased space.

As a finishing touch, the hotel space also utilised the Criterion Decorum Flat to add to the quality interior. The Decorum Flat was bonded at intervals horizontally to the glazing using Criterion ZG 101 high bond adhesion tape helping to deliver a unique glasshouse look.

The partitioning throughout the space, considered design and quality components deliver an openness throughout the hotel and allows for natural light to flow within the hotel. Finished in powder coat Dulux Electro Black Ace and combined with the architect’s selection of copper, brick veneer and timber feature panelling, a visit to Ivy and Jack on Hay St Restaurant within the Holiday Inn provides a memorable dining and lounge experience.
