Fifth floor Chambers - 239 George St, Brisbane

Fifth Floor Chambers is a Brisbane legal practice founded by a group of barristers who stepped out from a larger firm to establish chambers under their own identity. Their George Street tenancy needed to make a strong first impression, support the privacy and focus that legal work demands, and reflect the confidence of a new practice.

Designed and delivered by Cachet, the project was a full demolition and fitout, transforming the floor into a refined workplace with a warm, residential quality. Generous, consistently sized offices and maximised access to natural light give the space a sense of openness and equality, while layered materiality natural stone, timber-look panelling, brass detailing and softened lighting delivers a calm, elevated environment that avoids the stiffness typical of professional services interiors.
