Silencio is Criterion’s acoustic aluminium hinged door, slim enough to sit inside a glazed partition run without breaking its line.
Stile width is the decision: Slimline for the lightest sightline, Narrow where the rating matters most, Wide where hardware and traffic demand more material. Machined in-house for locks, catches, and weather and acoustic seals, so the door arrives ready to hang rather than ready to modify.
Hangs as a hinged door, or runs on Silencio Arctic Overtaking System and Silencio Amazon Overtaking. It is also the leaf inside Silencio Celtic 64 Cavity Unit.
Every Silencio system is tested as a complete assembly in a nationally recognised laboratory — leaf, frame, seals and threshold together — and rated to AS/NZS ISO 717-1. The figures below are the tested laboratory ratings for each configuration we supply.
| Configuration | Rating |
|---|---|
| Slimline Stile | Rw 35 |
| Narrow Stile | Rw 37 |
| Wide Stile | Rw 35 |
Laboratory ratings for the complete tested system. Installed performance depends on the opening being built and sealed as tested.
