Sky News - Holt street Sydney

Criterion Industries supplied a comprehensive range of partitioning, acoustic door and cavity sliding systems for the new Sky News Australia broadcast centre at News Corp Australia's Surry Hills headquarters. Designed by Bates Smart and delivered by Shape, the purpose-built facility features eight studios, six control rooms and an expansive integrated newsroom, all constructed and commissioned in under 12 months.

Platinum 90 partitioning in single and double glazed configurations, together with Platinum 90 Integrated Sliding systems, created adaptable layouts throughout the facility, while the Silencio acoustic range, Barwon and Aurora 70 aluminium doors, AT30, AT40 and AT45 timber doors, and Caspian Cavity Sliding units, ensured the precise acoustic separation required between studios and control rooms.
