The office redesign for Toyota Head Office and Autoparts in Western Australia called for the complete demolition and strip out of the existing office space. The dated interior was overhauled by a total refresh, and the final result was a more open, airy, light-filled space with accents of texture and colour to reflect the modern work environment.
Feature planters line the office space, along with timber inlay ceilings to exude warmth. The furniture and lighting was carefully selected to make the space feel modern without being sterile.
Using a range of Criterion products contributed to the elevated look, feel and function of the updated office space. By using floor to ceiling partitioning such as the Platinum 90 and the Gallium 25 for a robust glazing system, the Toyota offices instantly felt more spacious and unrestricted.
The Aurora Aluminium doors and hardware were used in the project to create a contemporary finish. Aurora was the ideal choice because it performs extremely well in heavy traffic settings.
The Arctic and Atlantic Sliding tracks were also selected for their reliability, ease of installation and consistent high performance. Not only does the Arctic deliver a slim-fit, minimalistic appeal, it also has a soft-close roller mechanism with minimal friction.
Strong teamwork was a key factor to the success of the project, and the collaboration between Roxby Architects, M&M Interiors and Criterion Industries demonstrated a very seamless and productive workflow. As a result the project was finished 4 days ahead of schedule. Martin from M&M Interiors said that “working together is what makes any project successful.”
